NANOSHoW

Nanoscience Open Source Hardware catalogue

Online catalogue of free-to-use design data, technical drawings, blueprints and specifications of advanced instrumentation for nanoscience designed and home-built within NFFA-Trieste project.

Research laboratories, especially if connected to large scale research infrastructures, are key developers of novel technologies. As instrumentation for cutting-edge research is generally not on the market, original assembly of existing technologies and unique developments are common practice and give direct returns on research quality. The resources used to develop, build and test advanced instrumentation are sizable investments, therefore providing information and technical drawings that allow duplication of successfully tested instrumentation can have a large impact on scientific community, with the added value of amplifying the scope of the initial investment as more and diverse research is empowered.
