Entry procedures to access NFFA-Trieste facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic

August 31st, 2021

Based on the national provisions in force for the containment of the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic and in accordance with Order of August 28 2021 adopted by the Minister of Health, in force until October 25 2021:

Users from Italy and Countries on List A

External users from Italy and Countries on List A are granted access to our site to perform experiments approved by the NFFA-Trieste review panels, without any limitation.

Users from Countries on List C

External users from a Country on List C (European Union and Schengen area) must:

  1. fill out the Digital Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy;
  2. provide the EU Digital Covid Certificate.

Failure to submit even just one of these documents entails self-quarantine for 5 days, at the end of which an antigen or molecular swab test will be carried out.

Users from USA, Japan, Canada and Israel

The provisions are the same as for users coming from a Country on List C, but instead of the EU Digital Covid Certificate, users can show an equivalent certificate issued by the competent health authority of the Country of origin.

Users from Countries on List D

External users from a Country on List D must:

  1. fill out the Digital Passenger Locator Form before entering Italy;
  2. provide the EU Digital Covid Certificate or an equivalent certificate issued by the competent health authority of the Country of origin proving the same;
  3. take a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab and with negative result, in the 48 hours before they arrive.

Failure to submit even just one of these documents entails self-quarantine for 5 days, at the end of which an antigen or molecular swab test will be carried out.
