The Italian Prime Ministerial Decree of January 14 2021, in force until March 5 2021, in order to contain and combat the covid-19 emergency, divides the Italian territory into three areas, corresponding to as many risk scenarios, for which specific restrictive measures are envisaged.
Based on the Ordinances of the Minister of Health of 20 February 2021, the NFFA-Trieste facility falls within the yellow area, which means it is allowed to move only within the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, from 5am to 10pm.
Movements to other Regions and/or from 22 pm to 05 am are allowed only for proven work needs, situations of necessity or health reasons, by filling in the self certification.

are granted access to our site to perform experiments approved by the NFFA-Trieste review panels.
Users from other countries / territories may be subject to specific rules, depending on the prevention measures applied for each particular country or territory (such as proof of having undergone a molecular or antigenic test, carried out by means of a swab, with negative result).

The beamtime of foreign users will be scheduled keeping in mind travel restrictions.
Remote experiments with sample mail-in are still encouraged, whenever possible.
Users authorized to access NFFA-Trieste facilities are obliged to read the Entry Procedures for Reopening the Structures of the CNR-IOM Headquarters in Trieste carefully and comply with the provisions.
