Elena Ferraguzzi's research line is focused on the application of synchrotron radiation spectroscopy to the investigation of surface reactivity. In particular, she uses soft-XAS at ambient pressure to reveal the active site of the catalysts and to design new and rational surfaces with improved performance. The primary objective of her research is the identification of suitable material for application in solid fuel cells.
